Carabao Milk in plain and choco flavourimg830

  • 500 ml- P 150.00
  • 1 litre – P300.00

Before you imagine unpleasant thoughts please give this local milk a fair chance-. Here are the facts:

  • 98% of all milk in the Philippines is imported and only 2% goes to our local farmers.
  • This milk is sourced and bottled by women farmers in Bulacan whose only link to market is their town centre.
  • Carabao milk has 5% more calcium, 40% more protein,   43% less cholesterol than regular milk!
  • The taste is so pure and fresh , and guaranteed with no hormones and antibiotics compared with those milks in cans and cartons in your grocery shops which are added of sugar and contains chemicals and medicines that was transferred to your milk when it was milked from a NOT organic cow.

TheVillageGreenShop also sells fresh cow’s milk.

img941We also added Sal de Hierbas  (Herb Salt) – a smart natural flavour enhancer made of  rosemary, orégano, majoram, various herbs and sea salt that could turbo-charge your pork chop, beef medallion and other recipes.

Also you might want to try our tablea made from native local cacao. We add them to our oat meal with raisins for a change and gave us new flavour for breakfast.

We also have red lady papaya. Our customers love it so much because they are sweet! Since we introduced them, it img933has now become staple item each week in our weekly food basket.  There is a great reason to add them to our diet especially in the morning as they are packed with rich sources of antioxidant nutrients such as carotenes, vitamin C and flavonoids; the B vitamins, folate and pantothenic acid; and the minerals, potassium and magnesium; and fiber. Together, these nutrients promote the health of the cardiovascular system and also provide protection against colon cancer. In addition, papaya contains the digestive enzyme, papain, which is used like bromelain, a similar enzyme found in pineapple, to treat sports injuries, other causes of trauma, and allergies.*
