Harvest Offering, 12th – 14th December 2013

Hello,

TheVillageGreenShop is fully stocked this weekend, 14th December. You can find our weekly staples of sustainably grown local and seasonal veg and greens, and specialty vegetables, pasture-raised and grass-fed meats, and dairy including wine, and natural bottled products.  We also have new items such as gluten-free grains, different herb salts, low-fat yoghurt, lamb and other pickled items. Please check them below.

Due to perishable nature of majority of our items and we don’t want to waste food so what’s available are only pre-ordered items each week.The vegs, salad and leafy greens are picked to order for you so we appreciate if you can please let us know any time until Wednesday, 11:00 am is cut off?

Please check out our harvest offerings on Thursday (31st October) which you can pre-order starting today until Wednesday, cut off is 11:00 am.  We are also offering subscription for November through December harvest. 

Subscription Scheme

We do accept subscription gifts for your friends and family with our Cornucopia Scheme. This is a free choice scheme where you determine the price and the items you want from the outset in your weekly sustainable basket and we will fill it out with your preferences e.g. all greens and veg or an assortment of veg and meat, plus probiotic, or rice or other items. The choice is yours.

What is a subscription scheme?

Organic consumers become organic subscribers if you buy in advance either in one lump sum or in installment your food basket for 4 weeks or 8 weeks (if we didn’t hear from you we roll it going forward) or at the beginning of the growing season.  In return for your subscription fee, subscribers receive an assortment of organic produce at discounted price which you have specified ahead of time, including frequency and number of periods.  If you would like to know what it is to subscribe, why and how, please call us at 0927 675 5199/villagegreenshop@btinternet.com.

Against GMO

Food Hub

We are creating Food Hubs in various communities in the metropolis. The objective is very simple – we would like to bring local, seasonal and sustainable produce with no pesticides, no fungicides, no GMO, no hormones and antibiotics in every home. Recently, a subscriber-friend of ours signed up to become a food drop in her community in Quezon City and part of Greenhills. Working together with our customers and subscribers who are as passionate as ours is a brilliant way to increase our campaign, outreach in other communities and access of organic produce grown by local and community farmers. And it makes this campaign a win-win situation for us all because we are able to create bigger impact and enable our food hubbers to increase their weekly food staples of organic items through the discount we offer to them. Lovely to meet you at the Mercato Day

Hello,

It was lovely to see our subscriber-friends, neighbours and new faces at the Mercato in Lexington.  And also to our friends who came from afar and braved the rain to see us, it was wonderful and we are incredibly grateful!  We hope the warm choco rice drink and the taco and tortilla with hot sauce and salsa provided relief and comfort.
