We would like to invite you at the Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, 7th of December, 8 am – 5 pm at Lexington Garden Village Clubhouse.

TheVillageGreenShop market stand is fully stocked. You can find sustainably grown and organically managed local and seasonal salad greens, a range of leafy veg (for juicing), native and specialty vegs, fruits, pasture-raised and grass-fed meats, and dairy, and wine including natural bottled products.  We also have new items such as gluten-free grains and other pickled items.

Due to perishable nature of some of our items plus  we don’t want to waste food so we would like to send you what’s on offer on the 7th December so you can pre-order anytime today until Wednesday, 4th December 11:00 am and we can pick/pack the items to order on the 7th December. We will allow extra kilos on first come, first serve basis only.

We do accept subscription gifts for your friends and family with our Cornucopia Scheme. This is a free choice scheme where you determine the price and the items you want from the outset in your weekly sustainable basket and we will fill it out with your preferences e.g. all greens and veg or an assortment of veg and meat, plus probiotic, or rice or other items. The choice is yours.

What is a subscription scheme?

Organic consumers become organic subscribers if you buy in advance either in one lump sum or in installment your food basket for 4 weeks or 8 weeks (if we didn’t hear from you we roll it going forward) or at the beginning of the growing season.  In return for your subscription fee, subscribers receive an assortment of organic produce at discounted price which you have specified ahead of time, including frequency and number of periods.  If you would like to know what it is to subscribe, why and how, please call us at 0927 675 5199/villagegreenshop@btinternet.com.

New improved milk and cheese

20130906_210550Our producers of carabao’s milk and cheese have just concluded their series of intensive training.  Not only that they have expanded the network of dairy farmers by training neighbouring communities in dairy farming which means that a sustained and bigger supply is put in place to bring these natural, unprocessed and organic dairy products to more communities.

As you know the milk has been relaunched recently with improved taste and packaging.  Now comes the kesong puti and cream cheeses in 3 delightful flavours: garlic, plain and moringa.

These products are available on a weekly basis preferably for subscription.  The more people will buy the bigger the discount we can give.  There is strength in numbers.

Let us know if you would like to try by pre-ordering every Tuesday, 11:00 am to assure you of a weekend delivery.

Food Hub

We are creating Food Hubs in various communities in the metropolis. The objective is very simple – we would like to bring local, seasonal and sustainable produce with no pesticides, no fungicides, no GMO, no hormones and antibiotics in every home. Recently, a subscriber-friend of ours signed up to become a food drop in her community in Quezon City and part of Greenhills. Working together with our customers and subscribers who are as passionate as ours is a brilliant way to increase our campaign, outreach in other communities and access of organic produce grown by local and community farmers. And it makes this campaign a win-win situation for us all because we are able to create bigger impact and enable our food hubbers to increase their weekly food staples of organic items through the discount we offer to them.
