We are delighted with the brand new look of our carabao’s milk but more than that it’s the quality, pureness and nutrition sealed in this new package design.  It comes in handy and easy-to-store food grade plastic container and tamper proof caps to ensure freshness and wholeness of the  milk.

Last week we gave away free samples to parents and children and we are glad they love the taste and longer shelf life.  Many thanks to those who sent their excellent feedback!

For those who enquired for extra bottles, you can place your order until Tuesday, that’s tomorrow, cut off is 12:00 nn so you can pick it up on the 15th September!  You may contact us at 0927 675 5199/villagegreenshop@btinternet.com if you would like to try first or subscribe.

Many thanks.

Why drinking Kefir gives you “good feeling”

img830Kefir pronounced /kəˈfɪər/ kə-FEER is a Turkish word which literally means good feeling.

Here’s why –

 Vitamins and Minerals in Kefir

Kefir contains highly beneficial bacteria and yeasts that promotes healing and repair as well as general maintenance.

Kefir is rich with high levels of thiamin, B12, calcium, folates and Vitamin K2 and biotin, a B vitamin that helps the body assimilate other B vitamins. The complete proteins in kefir are already partially digested and therefore more easily utilised by the body. Kefir is a great source of minerals like calcium and magnesium and phosphorous which helps the body utilise carbohydrates, fats and proteins for cell growth, maintenance and energy.

Great for the Gut and Bone Health

Kefir is a potent probiotic drink that protects against gastrointestinal diseases and improves lactose digestion in adults with lactose intolerance. The healthy symbiotic micro flora is antifungal and antibacterial and certain bacterial strains from the kefir culture can treat colitis by regulating the inflammatory response of the intestinal cells.

Drinking kefir is a great source of Vitamin K2 which plays an important role in calcium metabolism in depositing calcium in appropriate locations such as in the bones and teeth assisting bone growth, and prevents it from depositing where it does not belong such as the soft tissues and arteries.

This is great to drink on an empty stomach before breakfast or for breakfast.

Available at TheVillageGreenShop at P150 per 500 ml.

You can place your order daily anytime. We deliver  twice a week either Mondays or  Fridays or Saturdays and sometimes Sundays. If the items are available we can deliver earlier than scheduled.
